And this first generation RAV4 was in the parking lot. It is so 90s, I can barely stand it. To be perfectly honest, if it was a five-speed four-wheel-drive, I would Love to have it for a weekend car.

Needs more teal, fuchsia or yellow.
Or all 3.

Even better if you could find a two door version with the removable top.

My neighbor across the street had one of those. She traded it in a few years ago on a new white GLK350. Interesting change.

My mom had a Gen 1 and a Gen 2 for a few years each. My grad school project partner also had a Gen 1. Great little unpretentious cars. And some of the best visibility of anything ever made. Except for that one spot in the back with the spare tire blocking the glass. This is back when they were called cute-utes and not crossovers. +10 for the 3-spoke wheels.

I live these things. I got to mess with one when I worked at a dealership. It was bluple, manual, and 4x4. It was a great little truck. It didn't have those sweet too-spokes thought just steering. It was super clean though, event the headlights looked brand new.
But the best thing is the rear door, it opens all the way to the floor. So it gives you a huge opening with a really low load level. And with the rear seats flipped up you get a pretty large cargo area for the size of the vehicle. I knew this picture would come in handy someday lol.

It’s too bad there’s no rear bumper, structurally, just some cladding on the door.

I'm thinking the bumper is some how intergrated into the door. Like the crash bars built into side doors on cars.
